Special Edition Press, Inc. & Trump Taj Mahal present with pride…
Every so often a show of diverse production with limited concept is presented to entertain and at least alleviate our kababayan from the routinization of their daily grind and the harshness of the current economic meltdown. ‘Though it’s true that the entertainment values were incorporated but somewhere, something seems to be missing—the total package!
Talking about a grand cast in a single production, SEP, Inc. and Trump Taj Mahal joined forces to break the monotonous production concept that has been prevailing lately. In their intention to offer a full blast conceptualization of a show, a long list of big named celebrities filled the roster of entertainers that’s slated to be shown on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.
Heading the line-up is the Philippine concert queen Pops Fernandez (fresh from her Divalicious High-energy concert series), RP’s Comedy King Dolphy (who’s still in cloud-9 following his successful movie team-up with his heir-apparent Vic Sotto and his four-score b-day celebration), enticing chanteuse par excellence Zsa-Zsa Padilla, plus an array of fresh and in-demand talents in the local showbiz and tin pan alley: voluptuous performer Geneva Cruz, “Star In A Million” singing sensation Kris Lawrence, the R&B Prince Jay-R and the new generation’s Jukebox King April Boy Regino.
As if the above-mentioned A-1 caliber celebrities won’t suffice to fill the stage, Dolphy’s equally talented sons also join the cast. Actor-director Eric Quizon leads his siblings Jeffrey, Boy 2, Ronnie and Vandolph in their specially prepared production numbers as part of the event’s tribute to Dolphy’s long successful career span in the entertainment business.
Had there been a show elsewhere in the East Coast with such impressive cast? There’s none yet but this one. What better way to spend a Thanksgiving weekend than watching an all-star Filipino concert on Saturday, November 29 in Atlantic City! The BACK2BACK concert is a talent-loaded event that promises a total entertainment package for the entire family to enjoy.
